Is Morningstar Learning Center a licensed facility?
Yes we are licensed through the state of Montana and accept children 6 months to 6 years.
What are your teacher to child ratios?
Our infant and transitional toddler classrooms maintain a 1:4 ratio, and our toddler and preschool classrooms maintain a 1:8 ratio.
Does a child have to be current on their immunizations to enroll?
Yes; because we are a state-licensed facility children are required to have all immunizations. Please call for a list.
Do you have a half-day program?
No, we do not offer a half-day program.
Does my child have to attend five days a week to get a spot in your program?
No; our minimum enrollment is from 8:30am to 4pm Monday through Thursday, and pending availability we offer after care Monday through Thursday (4-5:30pm) and Friday enrollment (8:30am-3:45pm).
Are you open year round?
Yes! We are open all year, but we do close at various times throughout the year. Please check the calendar for days we are closed.
Is there a waiting list?
Yes. If you are interested in enrolling your child at MLC, please contact us as soon as possible at info@mlcbigsky.org
Is financial aid available?
Yes. Morningstar Learning Center offers need-based financial aid. The Tuition Assistance Program is funded through grants by the Big Sky Resort Area District, and MLC’s tuition is also made affordable thanks to Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, Spanish Peaks Community Foundation, Moonlight Community Foundation, and generous donors from throughout our community.
